Beautiful french “boutis” eiderdown bedspread from the 50s/60s
Filled with wool it’s a beautiful maroon colour on one side and saffron yellow on the other
The hand quilting features lovely decorative work including a central daisy and leaves
There are some signs of colour bleeding from the maroon side to the yellow side. Not hugely visible but there nonetheless. Other than this the quilt is in excellent vintage condition. It has been laundered
