A beautiful, old “vinaigrier”. French farmhouse classic

Made from sandstone and partially glazed it was used to store vinegar.
There is a small hole under one of the handles in which a tap would be inserted. The hole is currently plugged with cork but a new tap can be fitted

A cork lid would have been fitted on the top

Use it as intended for fermenting or preserving or as a utensil holder or lovely primitive rustic decor in a farmhouse style kitchen

24cm tall
