Inspired by the art of Japanese Furoshiki (wrapping gifts with fabric) I have created a line of fabric gift wrapping made from vintage recycled linen and hand painted.
You are viewing the balance print - hand stamped to look like stones balancing on each other. We've all had to do a lot of balancing this year so it felt like an apt pattern.
Each wrap is cut from recycled vintage linen cloth from France, painted with a hand brush design in gold and the edges are finished with an overlocker.
This eco friendly wrapping can be used to gift wrap christmas presents or any other gift at any time of year.
The wrap measures approx. 70x70cm and is large enough to wrap up to a medium sized board game box.
Endlessly reusable it can be washed on cold. You can fold and tie the linen gift wrap in all sort of different ways.
The beauty of wrapping presents in fabric is very special and you can accessorise with foraged twigs or greenery for an entirely eco friendly and zero waste christmas.
This Christmas I have an entire line of plastic free and reusable gift wrapping options including other Furoshiki wraps, gift pouches and hemp tags. Take a look at other items in my shop.
