A vintage wooden crate from Champagne maker Heidsieck & Co.
It has lovely engraved markings on all sides including the brand name and Champagne Reims.
The crate is on castors making it very handy for different uses. As a wood storage solution beside the fire, for potatoes in the kitchen. Would also be a great retail display piece.
There is some damage on one side and lots of knocks to the wood which is to be expected for a utilitarian piece. This just all adds to the character.
It has been fully cleaned, treated for wood worm an oiled. Ready for its next life:)
