Stunning small antique butcher block with backsplash
Gorgeous handle on the drawer, beautiful wear to the grain.
Made from oak it is heavy. Features a slot for knives, a drawer (missing slat on bottom of the drawer), a backsplash and metal braces on the feet.
One of the legs I a little bowed and there is a crack at the top (pictured). This does not affect the sturdiness of the piece. It just means it is best suited to be placed against a wall and not moved.
The top shows signs of wear and hard work, all to be expected from an old original butcher block like this.
It has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised and then oiled with linseed. Ready to adorn your home and be used for many years to come.
